The Setup Process

We have professional installers available in Calgary and Toronto. Please call or email for more information.

Our lifts are quite easy to setup. Typically two to individuals can setup in a lift in 4-6 hours. Each individual part of the lift is manageable with two people, however the ramp containing the hydraulic ram is quite heavy and we would recommend having a total of 4 people for about 5 minutes for moving that particular part into your garage.

Overview of the setup process:

  • Pickup the lift from the terminal or warehouse with a flatbed truck or trailer. (Please note the truck or trailer must be able to handle the 13 foot length and 1550 pound weight.)
  • A forklift will load the lift onto the back of the truck, so be sure to bring plenty of pulleys and straps to safely secure the lift. Also please add a safety flag to the end of the lift as it will be longer than your truck bed in most cases.
  • Back the truck up to your garage and disassemble the metal frame / crating.
  • Position the four posts
  • Assemble the posts and columns
  • Lift and mount both ramps
  • Install the cables
  • Attach the safety lock rods
  • Attach the hydraulic pump
  • Fill the hydraulic pump reservoir
  • Adjust the cables & test the lift

Things you will need for setup

  • A minimum 30 amp breaker and wiring to the power terminal that you are planning to run the lift on
  • 5 gallons of Hydraulic fluid
  • One two prong male power connector
  • Tube of grease

Note: Currently our lifts are run using a 2HP, Single Phase, 27 Amp, 110V motor. Please consult a licensed electrician to ensure that you have the proper wiring.
